The Network is an ever-growing comprehensive directory made up of survivors, allies, agencies, and orgs working in the anti-trafficking movement for the purposes of collaboration and to conduct business with each other. We also feature survivor-owned businesses and businesses that support anti-trafficking efforts.
We recognize that public survivorship is a priviledge that not every survivor has the ability and/or desire to embody. We honor all survivors, whether servicing publicly as a survivor leader or in another capacity. We are all in this work. We are all in this together.

I consult/speak on ethical advocacy, cultural competency, and religious trauma. The space I feel most qualified as a survivor servant is between the survivor and the advocate/ally. I enjoy consulting on policies and practices within direct care service provision, and I enjoy asking allies and advocates to consider who they are, and where systems intersect their personal identities. I ask essential questions so that allies/advocates can interrogate their blind spots so that they minimize how they may potentially harm a survivor as they are emerging from the life.

Babin Law, LLC brought the first lawsuit in the country seeking to hold hotels accountable for profiting from human trafficking, under a federal statute, called the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA). That statute permits survivors of human trafficking to bring a civil lawsuit against any entity that "knowingly benefited" from what it "knew or should have known" to be human trafficking.
The TVPRA is a law that can be used to hold hotels accountable for their role in failing to prevent human trafficking from occurring on their properties. Survivors finally have a new way to access justice. In civil court, survivors can seek compensation from the hotels that profited from their trafficking, and allowed it to happen. Babin Law accepts cases all across the country on a contingency fee basis.
If you are a survivor who was trafficked at a hotel, please contact us at 833-SURVIVORS or kristina.aiad-toss@babinlaws.com.

We have specialized services for females, males, transitional aged youth, undocumented persons, U.S. Citizens, LGBT population, who have experienced sex trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation. Our programs provide survivor-centered and empowerment-based services to strengthen and support survivors.
Emergency Shelter & Crisis Intervention: Exiting exploitative situations can be a long and very hard process. Access to service providers and resources before, during, and after a survivor's escape is crucial. Often this is a process and can take many attempts. We work with community-based organizations to support the in-person crisis response where individuals provide trauma-informed support and emergency shelter coordination for CSE and domestic trafficking survivors. This program is the access point to all other survivor services.
Community: We operate a day-time drop in center with the goal of increasing identification and connecting survivors with services. Our center serves as a safe place for survivors to come make friends, meet with a service coordinator, eat, or rest. We encourage and empower survivors to become independent by meeting basic needs and increasing awareness of the resources available to survivors.
Service Coordination: We work one-on-one with every person in our care to support them based on their individual needs and goals. Our Service Coordination program is divided into three phases: crisis intervention, stabilization phase, and long-term/closing phase. We provide each participant with survivor-centered comprehensive case management, resource coordination, and transitional housing support. These services are accessed at our drop-in center.

We are a nonprofit that is run by survivors. We believe economic empowerment is the key to releasing survivors from "the life" and hypothesize that a trauma-informed approach to gainful employment may be the most critical service required to reduce recidivism rates, particularly for a population who only know "work" as a painful and traumatic experience.
